Customised programmes

At Henley Africa, we’re inspired by individuals and organisations that challenge the status quo by advancing business knowledge and practice, and that better serve people and the planet. We can create fully-fledged, bespoke leadership development programmes for organisations wanting specific outcomes for their employees, suppliers, members, and partners. We offer a full learning stairway of accredited programmes up to (but not including) the MBA. We can tailor up to 50% of the content of these programmes to your individual needs and requirements. We can also co-design a short course for you – from a one-day workshop to a programme running over several months.

When working with you, we strive to establish a deep understanding of your needs. Breaking away from the ‘right answer’ model, we co-create learning experiences that empower people and create more value over the long term. Our learning philosophy
In a world overwhelmed by decision-making we recognise the regenerative power of confidence, knowledge, and good judgement. We move beyond the manager role as an individual ‘in charge’, to rather develop decisive thinkers, leaders, and remarkable African entrepreneurs who take responsibility for turning ideas into profitable outcomes within organisations.
Connect and learn
Humans are inherently social. Co-operation lies at the heart of people’s lives and society – from day-to-day interactions to some of our greatest endeavours. We learn best by doing, interacting, reflecting, and constantly practising over time. This requires a level of courage, vulnerability and leaning into the learning process. Our programmes provide an outstanding participant experience, where delegates and faculty can spend time together in formalised sessions, virtually, or face-to-face, to learn with and from each other.
Test as you go
As a delegate, your workplace or business is the incubator for testing theories and ideas in the weeks between content blocks – ensuring that learning always takes place in a context that sees the transfer of knowledge gained to relevant practice. Throughout the process, we will cultivate critical and innovative thinking that will help you to succeed.
Our design approach
Supporting your organisation’s development needs is our top priority. New and advancing managers need something tangible to advance their practice, which is why our programmes balance scientific rigour and research with experiential learning to enable your people to rise through the ranks.
Our approach typically involves four stages:

Co-design

We partner with your team to co-design a learning solution that supports your organisation in reaching its strategic objectives.

Programme delivery

We deliver a dynamic programme of activities, gathering feedback and consistently assessing and reshaping what we’re doing, to ensure we focus on the established challenges and their related learning objectives.

Review

We rigorously review the individual and organisational progress aligned to the learning outcomes.

  • Family matters. Free support workshops for you and your partner, with children’s entertainment provided on-site at specific times. 

Our MBAid programme provides free support and relationship counselling to students and their families. We make family-friendly events a part of the curriculum because we understand that our students are parents, spouses, business leaders and community members – and they need time to flourish and fulfil each of these roles.
